feleven Photography
feleven Photography is the 'technical arm' of our sister website, still-Photographs. This site is dedicated to providing landscape photography tips and technical articles to aspects of photography that are not commonly found elsewhere.
Currently, feleven's 'Technical' Pages contain the following hints & tips and articles:
1) The noise characteristics of the Nikon D700 dSLR.
2) Panoramic photography techniques and panoramic composition.
3) Control of perspective.
4) High dynamic range photography - hints and tips not found elsewhere.
5) A Noise Reduction Technique.
Further articles and equipment reviews will be added periodically so please bookmark this page and call back. Planned articles will examine and compare the noise processing performed by the D700, by the Nikon Capture NX2 software and by Adobe software.
The 'Equipment' Page contains short reviews of our favourite photographic equipment and software. Most of the photographs on this site and on our sister site, www.still-photographs.co.uk, were taken using this equipment which includes the Nikon D100, D2X and D700, the Fuji GW690 Mk3 and GA 645 Rangefinders, a selection of Nikon lenses and software including PTGUI, Photomatix and Nikon Capture NX2.
The 'Favourite Places' Pages contain photographs of feleven's favourite places, together with information concerning their location and the best times of day or year for photography at these locations. These pages are under constant development so please call back.
A selection of FREE instruction manuals, wiring diagrams and exploded diagrams for photographic equipment may be found by clicking the 'Manuals' tab. Currently, manuals are provided for the Nikon FE, Nikon FM and Olympis OM4 cameras together with exploded views of the Nikkor 24-85 f3.5-4.5. More will be added in the coming months.
